Pastor Mitchell came to Leon in February 2010 after serving for over ten years as pastor of the Bethel Bible Church of Rural Donnellson, Iowa. A native of Keokuk, Iowa, Clegguart answered God’s call to ministry as a youth pastor of the Anson Community Church of rural northeast Missouri in late 1994. After serving there for more than five years, he responded to the Lord’s leading to go to the Bethel Bible Church.
Pastor Clegguart and his wife Jenny are proud parents of eight children. He has been very active in the IFCA International, serving as president of the Iowa Regional.
The Lord led Clegguart to serve as an Iowa State Patrol Chaplain for several years also, experiences which have enhanced his work with the church he has served. He continues to serve as a Chaplain here in District 2.
